Research should work for every researcher. We want Wonders to be usable however you read, type, and navigate — and we’ll be honest about where we are on that journey.
Where we are
We’re a small, fast-moving team, and we won’t pretend Wonders is already perfect for everyone. It isn’t — yet. What we can promise is that accessibility is a real, ongoing priority, that we design for it as we build, and that we move quickly when someone tells us we’ve fallen short.
Keyboard first
Core flows work without a mouse, and it stays clear which element is focused.
Readable by default
We check colour contrast, use real semantic structure, and label controls for screen readers.
Respects your settings
Reduced-motion preferences are honoured — animations calm down when you ask them to.
Tested as we build
Accessibility checks are part of how we ship, not a once-a-year audit.
What we’re working toward
We’re working toward conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA as our baseline. We’re not claiming we’re fully there today — we’re telling you it’s the bar we hold ourselves to, and that we’ll keep closing the gaps.
If something in Wonders doesn’t work for you — a flow you can’t complete, a control you can’t reach — please email support@readwonders.com. A real person will read it, and we’ll prioritise the fix. Your report makes Wonders better for the next person, too.
For every researcher. If we’re not there for you yet, tell us — and we’ll fix it.
